The Apex191 is a high quality, high sensitivity, wide range unidirectional condenser microphone. It is designed to meet the needs of professional musicians and sound engineers in any recording and live sound reinforcement applications. The tight cardioid pickup pattern is useful in most applications where there is a need to reduce unwanted background noise and controlling feedback.
Like the popular Apex190, the Apex191's smooth response, fast attack and quiet operation ensure high quality instrument or vocal pickup. The Apex191 however will operate with either phantom power delivered from a console or preamp, or from an internal AA battery when phantom power is not readily available.
