The APEX381 low impedance hand-held dynamic microphone is an outstanding choice for live vocals. It features a high-energy neodymium magnet, double dome mylar diaphragm with aluminum alloy voice coil, carefully engineered to provide incredibly high output, high sensitivity and a linear frequency response.
An internal double shockmount system significantly reduces handling & extraneous noise while a unique filter minimizes breath noise and popping caused by some consonants. The Apex381's tight hypercardioid pattern allows maximum gain before feedback and excellent 'off axis' rejection, making it one of the most controllable microphones for use on a tight stage or in an environment where feedback and cross talk between vocalists and instruments might become an issue.
The extremely rugged, heat-treated metal grille is highly shock resistant for better element protection and performance and the Apex381's "leather-feel" finish makes for a more positive grip on the microphone even during the most enthusiastic live performances.
